MEET MY RECENT HAUL:  CLINIQUE EVEN BETTER CLINICAL DARK SPOT CORRECTOR AND NEUTROGENA OIL FREE MOISTURIZER WITH SPF 35

REVIEW WILL BE DONE AFTER A MONTH SO STAY TUNED! <3

Celeteque: My Moisturizer Quest

Halowha Ladies! Holy Week it is! May we find in our hearts the time to contemplate on our sins and be grateful for God's gift to us--Jesus Christ who died on the cross to save us.

Today I am going to make a product review on the well known Celeteque Moisturizer :) I have used it for a month already so a review is quite appropriate so here's my real score for this baby....

I am not a fan of moisturizers because I tend to break out because of my oily and sensitive skin but recently I noticed my skin looks parched because of the stuff I use my derma recommended to keep those pimps at bay (sad face) so I decided that I need to be a moisturizer user from now on as it will help in the improvement of my skin and wont leave it looking dying from thirst. I set a criteria on how to pick the perfect moisturizer for a sensitive skin type like me. First it has to be hypoallergenic, second it wont cause me additional bothersome zits and thirdly will provide adequate moisture yet wont leave a slick heavy feel on my face. I did some research and Celeteque has the number one spot and excelled in my criteria for judging ;) so I bought one on a local grocery store and I was impressed the first time I used it. Finally I found one of my skin's buddy (yey!)

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

LIST OF INGREDIENTS AND HOW IT WORKS:

What I also like about this is that you only need a pea size amount for full coverage.

After fully spreading and well absorbed on my skin. To the right is with flash and left is with out flash.

Now another plus points for me is how they state the manufacturing date and expiration date of the product.

(PARDON ME FOR THE LOW QUALITY PICTURES T.T)

RAVES:

- pea size amount is REALLY adequate for the whole face
- I love how light and cool it feels on my skin yet properly addressed my dryness
- did not cause further break outs
- very pocket friendly for a tight-on-the-budget girl like me. Cost 145 pesos for a 50 ml tube
- hypoallergenic, wont clog pores and water based

RANTS:

- no spf
- label says it's fragrance free yet there is still a hint of smell but not bothersome at all

FINAL VERDICT:

IT WILL BE A SURE PURCHASE EVERY TIME I RAN OUT OF THIS BABY.(not unless I can find something much better for my sensitive, oily and pimple prone skin)

P.S.: I am giving this a rest not because I am not satisfied or it has wronged me in any other way but because I am currently using Clinique Dark Spot Corrector together with Nuetrogena Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF 35. It is imperative to wear a suncreen whan using Clinique dark spot corrector. I am putting this new loot on a test as of the moment sooo a review will be out soon :)

PRODUCT REVIEW: TEA TREE OIL BY AROMACOLOGY

I am still on my quest on achieving a pimple and blemish free skin. I have tried several products the world has to offer and to my dismay it didn't work out. One of the products I tried was the tea tree oil by Aromacology Sensi. Here is their Facebook account for more product info. My mom recommended this to me when she tried it from a free facial. It comes in a cylindrical glass bottle and a roller to dispense the 10 ml oil. I thought it was a perfume roulette the first time I saw it.

Product description on the bottle:

Nature's most effective anti bacterial and anti inflammatory essential oil. Tea tree oil "Malalelueca alterni-folia" helps clear spots, blemishes and warts. Good for pimples, dandruff, eczema and acne too.

I am not impressed so I rate this 4 lippies out of 10. If you are looking for something to treat bothersome acne I do not recommend this at all but hey we all have different skin types. As every skin care guru  says: "What works for me might not work for you."

RAVES:
- gives a minty cool feeling upon application
- not that costly. I bought mine for 180.00 and it lasted for 2 months
- did help tame some of my zits that are manageable

RANTS:
- very slight change in pimple marks/dark spots
- may burn the skin when excessively applied
- packaging is a big no no to me. Product gets easily contaminated.

FINAL VERDICT:
After consuming two bottles which lasted for about 3 months I saw a very slight improvement on my acne scars. No repurchasing needed. If you want something soothing on your face though you can check this out.
